Privacy policy

AutoSocial is a service operated by Createch Plus that publishes news articles from an organization's own website to that organization's own social media accounts. This policy explains what data we use, why, and how you can have it deleted.

Who uses AutoSocial

AutoSocial is used by organizations (for example news publishers) that sign up and are approved by us. A person managing an organization's Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts can connect those accounts to AutoSocial so posts can be published on the organization's behalf.

Facebook and Instagram data we use

• Your Facebook user ID and name, to know who connected the accounts.
• The list of Facebook Pages you manage and choose to connect (Page ID, name, the tasks you can perform) and a Page access token.
• The Instagram professional (business) accounts linked to those Pages (account ID and username).
• When posting is enabled: the posts AutoSocial publishes (text, link, image) and the IDs Facebook or Instagram return for them.

We use this data only to publish posts that the connected organization has asked AutoSocial to publish, and to show the organization the status of those posts. We do not read your private messages, friends list or personal timeline, and we do not use the data for advertising or profiling.

Website content

The organization's website sends AutoSocial article data (title, link, image, excerpt, language, categories) so it can be posted. This is the organization's own public content.

Storage and security

Data is stored on our server in a folder that is not accessible from the web. Access tokens and secrets are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown in the app. Access to the app requires an account, and each organization can only see its own data.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade any data. Data is sent only to the platforms the organization chose to publish to (such as Facebook, Instagram or a social media management service the organization connects), solely to publish its posts.

Retention and deletion

Connection data is kept while the accounts stay connected. Disconnecting in the app deletes the stored tokens and Page list immediately. You can also remove AutoSocial from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations), which tells us to delete your data automatically, or email us.
